Trimax Home

Are you looking to improve your race times with an experienced, certified USAT and USAC Coach?
After 20 years of competing on the football field at every level from Pop Warner to NCAA to Professional Indoor Football, John had a major knee surgery that led him to seek another avenue that would allow him to receive his adrenaline and competition fix.  Armed with his 5 year old Cannondale Hard-tail, John set his sights on XTERRA Triathlons.  After his first race, he was hooked.  Immediately, John was immersed into the multisport lifestyle, racing in triathlons, trail runs, duathlons, criteriums, and more.  Within a year, John started Trimax Endurance Sports, and began directing a full schedule of annual races.  The knowledge and sense of accomplishment he gained in the past five years fuels his passion for the sport.  John now looks forward to sharing his experience, through coaching,  and encouraging others to embrace endurance sports and the commitment that comes with it.

First-Tier Service
You will receive your detailed individualized training in all 3 disciplines on a weekly basis,
up to one week in advance, depending on your phase of training. Additionally, your training
can be updated, modified, or workouts reshuffled on a daily basis if necessary due to
illness, missed workouts, other obligations, etc., to allow you to maximize your fitness
gains within your available time and commitments. This rate includes unlimited e-mail and
phone consultations, your own online Training Peaks account, training/racing nutritional
guidance, and occasional one-on-one coach-initiated review of swim, bike and run
technique throughout the year to see how things are progressing and to provide advice
and new drills to continue the improvement.

Second-Tier Service
We now offer a second-tier coaching service, at a correspondingly lower monthly rate.
Individualization of training and personal attention are still highlights of this service, as
these are aspects of quality coaching that we will not compromise. Your training is still
provided each week in all 3 disciplines through your own online Training Peaks account;
however, we would not be able to update daily, modify, or reshuffle workouts within the
week due to changes in your personal schedule. Communication can be expected at
least once per week, and may be more often based on the coaches’ availability (although
written feedback to us on your workouts through your online account is unlimited and
can be done on a daily basis). After the initial assessment and analyses, any additional
review sessions (e.g., swim technique) or one-on-one in-person coaching sessions would
be billed at the Personal Coaching Session fee.

Personal Coaching Session
Have a question or concern that is too complex for an e-mail or phone conversation? These
client-initiated sessions can cover anything from additional stroke, bike or run technique
work to nutritional discussions to race planning/strategy. One of the best things about
Endurance Multisport is that you can meet with your coaches face-to-face and one-on-one
to learn, strategize and improve!
